The therapeutic relationship between the client and counselor is one of the most important aspects of the therapy process. My goal is to create a safe space for clients so as to promote transparency and trust. Each person’s journey is unique with different challenges and obstacles. Together we can develop strategies and take steps towards achieving each client’s personal goals whether that looks like having someone that will listen to your story or learning skills to help with the current situation.
I am passionate about helping children, adolescents and young adults with the unique struggles they face whether at school, home, or in another environment. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, religious issues, OCD, bullying, trauma, abuse, self-esteem, and mood disorders. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, and strengths-based and solution-focused techniques to help the client move towards healing.
