I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist who has provided mental health service to the West Michigan community for over ten years. I provide outpatient care for adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health concerns. Therapy is a journey that is different for every individual, and I have experience working with children, teens and adults.
I use a variety of counseling techniques including EMDR, DBT, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, strength based, and person-centered therapies. I use these techniques to help with issues such as trauma, self-esteem, boundaries and communication, stress management, LGBTQ issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and family issues.
I am dedicated to providing confidential, effective, respectful and compassionate counseling that empowers individuals to become their best selves. I believe each person faces their own unique stressors and difficulties throughout the different phases of life and we all have the ability to find happiness and contentment with the right support. Walking alongside someone in their time of need is the most rewarding experience in my professional life and my goal is to work toward healing and resolution with my clients. My positive attitude and belief that all people have the ability to find happiness by working through their issues is an asset that can help my clients feel empowered to face whatever life throws at them.
