ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
At some point in our lives, we experience challenges that overwhelm our ability to cope and we can benefit from having someone to help us navigate our way through these challenges. Taking the first step in starting the therapy journey is often the hardest. I believe therapy is a collaboration between the client and the therapist built on trust and mutual respect. Therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and reflection. My goal is to not only support you as you work toward becoming your best self but also to help you find peace, hope and joy in the journey to get there.
I have been in the helping profession for over 20 years in various capacities. I have worked in private practice, non-profits, residential and outpatient settings. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress, anger management, self-esteem issues, substance use and other addictions. I also have experience providing counseling and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I obtained my Master’s in Community Counseling from Western Michigan University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I am also a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS).
