Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) with several years of extensive training and experience providing psychotherapy and holistic counseling services to diverse populations of all backgrounds, orientations, and ages in various settings. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Western Michigan University (WMU) along with the completion of a Specialty Program in Alcohol & Drug Abuse (SPADA) Certification and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). My undergrad education was also received at WMU where I completed Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Psychology & Criminal Justice. I’ve received training in EMDR as well as the EAGALA model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) where processing work is done alongside horses. I offer an eclectic & trauma-informed approach to treatment while utilizing various models including, but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, EAP, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Behavior Modification, IFS, Mindfulness, Expressive Art, & Attachment Theory.

My career has been invested in working with those navigating & overcoming a wide array of life’s challenges with a focus on healing from trauma, building healthier relationships, developing communication, and addiction recovery. My direct approach, knowledge, & professional background in crisis stabilization, child development & welfare, family treatment, substance use/abuse, as well as diverse roles within the juvenile & adult criminal justice systems; allow me to provide beneficial insights & tools that inspire growth in many. As a CJ/Mental Health Professional, I specialize in offering therapeutic services to those serving/have served as Law Enforcement, Corrections, First Responders, and Military. However, I enjoy working with all individuals (14+) as well as couples and groups and have a natural ability to genuinely hear and empathize with people while meeting each where they are presently at in life.

I offer counseling & therapy services in the traditional office setting, via telehealth, & at GolDun Ridge Ranch to teens, couples, and adults looking to:

o Understand, heal, and work to overcome issues tied to anxiety, depression, mood instability, low self-esteem, abuse, neglect, bullying, grief, loss, PTSD, and other traumas

o Develop a positive sense of “self” with focus on increasing overall health and wellness in mind, body, and spirit

o Identify maladaptive patterns while processing life’s struggles, challenges, losses, gains, changes, and opportunities for growth

o Improve motivation, productivity, and self-care

o Learn healthy communication skills, boundaries, and forms of attachment

o Build healthy marriages and relationships

o Strengthen parenting skills & co-parenting abilities

o Work their recovery from substances and other addictions

o Set goals and find direction to pursue life’s passions and purpose

If you’re ready to stop doing what you’ve always done, tired of getting what you’ve always gotten, and are motivated to start experiencing more positive energy in your life…I’m here to offer you a personalized & trauma-informed care approach that is highly focused on utilizing tools and models of treatment that can specifically address your individual needs and goals.

I encourage and commend bravery for taking steps in this journey to becoming your true

authentic self- and I absolutely look forward to providing a safe, confidential, and supportive setting to help you unlock this new promising chapter in life!
