Welcome! I began practicing with the Counseling Center of West Michigan in January of 2020 as an intern. Now, as a graduate of Western Michigan University's marriage and family therapy program, I currently am a limited licensed professional counselor working mostly with couples and families.
After graduating with my bachelor's degree in music education in 2009, I spent eleven years teaching elementary and high school vocal music in the public school system. Seeing students in the classroom was enjoyable, and my passion for families and couples grew from my dedication to helping students and their families. Many of the things I noticed students struggling within the classroom were related to events stemming from their home situations.
My musical passions include playing the piano, guitar, and singing. I enjoy running, cooking, and reading in addition to directing five high school choirs and practicing with the Counseling Center. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. I am confident that you will receive the supportive care you seek at the Counseling Center of West Michigan.
