Hello and welcome! Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, and I understand how important it is to find the right fit. I’ve been down this road myself, and it took time to find someone who truly understood my needs. As a therapist, I consider it a privilege to be part of someone’s journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and empowered to make meaningful progress.
A little about me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan with approximately ten years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My most recent experience has been supporting adult individuals and couples in an outpatient setting. Previously, I worked with children and families, adolescents, and adults facing pervasive mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. I have also supported survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs. I believe that attachment styles and unresolved trauma play a significant role in shaping our relationships with ourselves and others, often contributing to symptoms of depression and anxiety. By addressing the root causes, I believe true healing can begin.
