Hello, My name is Jacques Green, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Therapeutic Pain Specialist.
I have worked as a therapist for 12 years primarily treating children and adolescents. Over the past four years, I have worked in a medical setting providing behavioral support for individuals facing chronic medical issues, specializing in treating patients with chronic pain.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who have challenges in multiple areas of their lives, first working to develop a positive therapeutic relationship to better understand those challenges and strengths each individual brings to therapy. I want to support each individual in creating clear therapeutic goals and developing the best way to reach those goals.
The therapeutic approach is individualized and based on the needs of each person. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Executive Functioning Training. I also enjoy incorporating technology tools including Biofeedback and Virtual Reality.
