Susan earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her LMSW from Western Michigan University. Susan has worked in a psychiatric hospital, outpatient program and recovery management. Susan has worked with adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns including: mood disorders, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, anger management, eating disorders, identity issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues and major life challenges.
Susan believes in an integrated approach to therapy because each client is unique and responds to different approaches. Susan recognizes that each individual has strengths to build on and the ability to reach their full potential. Susan creates a safe, accepting, openminded environment to explore your concerns. Susan uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and EMDR to guide each client on their path.
