I am a Limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduated with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I also received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and minored in juvenile justice and family studies.
I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and adults. My clinical interests include the treatment of anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, family conflict, and relationship challenges. I enjoy helping individuals manage stress and navigate major life transitions or events. I strive to meet all of my client’s specific needs and differences by combining multiple approaches that can ensure a client gains the skills that they need in order to meet their goals and ultimately reach their full potential.
I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Existential Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Group Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment for clients to share their story and work to become stronger and healthier versions of themselves. I love to work with my clients in both individual sessions and within a group setting. I have experience working in residential foster care, family court, and within psychiatric inpatient care as well.
I reside locally in Rockford, Michigan with my family of four and in my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
