Are you grieving the loss of your beloved pet and it’s affecting your daily functioning? Or are you exhausted from juggling your work/life responsibilities and attempts at balancing them have been unsuccessful? I believe we are all inherently worthy of love, joy, acceptance, belonging, and success! Yet we are also wired to experience internal struggles and challenges.

My intention is to provide you a safe space to facilitate your healing, process your feelings, develop healthier thinking patterns/coping strategies and empower you to overcome your difficulties. The treatment modalities used to help you reach your goals vary based on your strengths and needs. My counseling style is eclectic and promotes self-awareness and self- growth while incorporating the whole being, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

I am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) and received a Master's degree from Michigan State University in 2010 and my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Central Michigan University in 1999. Working in the mental health field for over 15 years has afforded me a wide variety of opportunities working alongside many different clients in residential, outpatient and inpatient settings. I have extensive training in trauma informed care, crisis intervention and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, yoga, and spending time outdoors with my husband and canine companions.

There is no shame in seeking therapy. I invite you to take a courageous journey at thriving at your life instead of simply surviving! It is my honor and privilege to join you on this collaborative journey.
