ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Hello and welcome! As a therapist, I have worked with many different types of individuals and have learned just as much from them as they’ve grown from our interactions! Therapy is all about walking alongside someone in their journey through life. I’m not here to give you advice. You already have the answers! I’m here to help you incorporate them into your daily life.

With 12 years’ experience in the field, I utilize a variety of approaches to therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Seeking Safety to provide individualized therapy. I specialize in the treatment of substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, chronic physical health conditions, domestic and sexual violence, postpartum and women’s issues and in general, difficult life transitions.

I am certified as an Advanced Addictions Counselor and in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and have completed the perinatal mood disorders training through Postpartum Support International. Since becoming a mother, one of my passions has been to help mothers cope with the often-misrepresented realities of motherhood, from infertility, to pregnancy, to the “empty nest” and loss of a child.

Our life’s journey presents a variety of challenges and I am here to help you identify skills, process your thoughts and determine the best ways to respond to these challenges - I look forward to working with you!
