NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, I have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages and their families. I have worked in several different settings, from inpatient mental health to private practice, and have provided outpatient group therapy to a variety of populations.

I attended Naropa University in Boulder, CO where I obtained a Master of Arts in studies related to counseling, spirituality, mindfulness techniques and art therapy. At WMU, I have taught “creativity and healing” at a graduate level.

Using a person-centered approach, I am passionate about helping others cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult life transitions and the vulnerabilities these experiences may cause. Given my education and experience I am well suited to work with children coping with divorce, including co-parenting support; children and adults with trauma, attachment issues, mood and personality disorders, and or behavioral issues related to RAD, ADHD, ODD, sensory integration issues, and ASD. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and as a trained couples counselor, The Gottman Method.

I welcome and encourage all, in walk of life, orientation, and/or identity to find their own creative path toward healing.
