Are you tired of feeling weighed down with depression?

Does anxiety hinder you from having a vibrant life?

Are you troubled by stress from past hurts or traumatic situations?

My goal is to help you gain freedom from the overwhelming feelings and stress related to anxiety, depression, trauma or addiction. I specialize in these areas as well as everyday concerns such as relationship issues and job stresses.

I am a Licensed Masters Social Worker and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with a variety of adult clients in both individual and group therapy.

I provide a safe environment with respect, understanding, trust and genuine concern. Trust is key to effective therapy in helping reduce symptoms and obtain desired goals. Biblical faith and spirituality are important and I include this in therapy at the request of the client. I am also open to working with those of any faith background. My view of therapy involves a collaboration between therapist and client working together to meet the goals of the client. I utilize an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral therapy, attachment theories, Dialectical Behavioral therapy skills as well as several others to meet my clients where they are.

I believe that the decision to pursue therapy is a difficult one for many people and commend anyone who takes this step of courage toward growth. I like to spend the first session hearing your story and learning what the struggles are that brought you into therapy and how they are affecting your life to begin building a good therapeutic relationship.

Some personal facts about me: In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping and swimming, as well as indoors with a good movie or book.

I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story and working together to help you experience peace, freedom, personal growth and a more vibrant life through better mental health and wellness.
