I was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University where I received a full scholarship to play football under Mark Dantonio. After college I went on to play in the National Football league with the Kansas City Chiefs. I have always had a passion for health, fitness and medicine. After my career in football concluded, I went back to school and graduated with a degree in Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I worked primarily in the ICU at Ascension Hospital Providence in Southfield, Michigan. As much as I loved providing patient centered care to high-acuity patients in addition to being present and compassionate within the patient’s family dynamics, I soon realized that my true passion was to become an APRN. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2019 as a Board Certified Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.

During my first year as an APRN practicing Primary Care, almost half of my patients were presenting to the clinic with psychiatric complaints. This was also during the thick of the COVID-19 Pandemic, where many individuals were struggling. I decided to go back to school to pursue a degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

I have been practicing Psychiatry full time since 2021. I am a board certified (PMHNP) by the ANCC. I enjoy every day that I work in Medicine and can connect with my patients. My general method to taking care of patients is a holistic patient centered approach. I have always enjoyed conversing with and getting to know my patients regardless of age, ethnicity or gender. I believe that developing rapport, strong relationships and becoming familiar with not only the patient's physical needs but their emotional and spiritual needs as well.

On my days off I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy staying active, cooking healthy meals and watching sporting events.
