Gail Monsma, M.A, LLP

Providing therapy is my passion, since I find all people intriguing. I have 20 years' combined experience in inpatient and partial hospitalization environments, and outpatient counseling. I work with adults of any age, and provide individual, couple, and family counseling. I am married and have two grown children, and three grandchildren. I have been a homeschool teacher. I work with these issues: Anxiety, Depression, Marital Conflict, Parent-Child Conflict, Chronic Pain, Life change/adjustment and PTSD.

I utilize primarily person-centered therapy with individuals, and a combination of several methods with couples. Where appropriate, homework may be assigned between sessions. Other therapies I use include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am available some evenings for those who need evening appointments.
