NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Welcome! I began practicing in January of 2020 as a marriage and family therapy intern. Currently, I am completing the final phase of completing my master's degree in counseling through Western Michigan University.

After graduating with my bachelor's degree in music education in 2009, I spent eleven years teaching elementary and high school vocal music in the public school system. Seeing students in the classroom was enjoyable, and my passion for families and couples grew from my dedication to helping students and their families. Many of the things I noticed students struggling within the classroom were related to events stemming from their home situations.

Why should you consider seeing an intern through the Counseling Center of West Michigan? In addition to being affordable, Psychology Today lists six reasons in their recent article found here.

My musical passions include playing the piano, guitar, and singing. I enjoy running, cooking, and reading in addition to directing five high school choirs and practicing with the Counseling Center. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. I am confident that you will receive the supportive care you seek at the Counseling Center of West Michigan.
