NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
It is an honor to walk alongside you in your journey toward self-discovery and wellness. Whether you are facing anxiety, fear, relationship struggles, life transitions, depression/sadness, substance use, or you have survived trauma, I will see you through the process of healing. I know how foreign it can feel to sit down with someone new and talk about yourself, so I will take the time to help you feel comfortable with the therapy process at whatever stage you are in. Sometimes all it takes is an established connection with somebody to cultivate positive change.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2012 after graduating with a Master's Degree in Social
Work from Grand Valley State University. I have since become fully licensed and obtained a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. My emphasis has been working in substance use recovery, trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and social anxiety disorder, as someone who has overcome social anxiety myself. I enjoy working with individuals ages fourteen and up with a variety of other struggles as well.
I use an integrative approach to therapy, understanding that there is value in many different approaches and techniques. Therapy is not a “one size fits all” experience, so I will tailor your treatment to your own unique needs and experiences. Some of the strategies I use include Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma Focused therapy, among others. I absolutely love working in this profession and getting to know so many different people on a deeper level. I look forward to meeting you!
