ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
People look to therapy for many reasons. I’m here to listen and help you to work towards the life that you want for yourself. My approach to counseling is based on humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapies. I believe that each person is unique, and I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. During our sessions together, I may ask you to complete homework so that I can better understand your perspective and judgment. This will allow me to work with you to develop a customized therapeutic approach that will best suite you.
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2011 and my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Ferris State University in 2009. I have worked in many fields of social work and have experience with diverse populations. I have worked with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, working in the community and home settings. I have worked with children and families both in the school and home settings. I also have had the honor to work with our veterans. I enjoy working with kids and adults in all areas of life.
