My belief for counseling is that you are the expert of your own life journey and often we do not have
someone to share those experiences with openly and without judgment. I would like to be that person for you, to give you a safe space to share your feelings, experiences, and troubles freely. In practice I use a variety of theories and techniques to help support my clinical approach and focus with clients. I find it incredibly important to give my clients empathy, support, and acceptance to be who they are.

I am currently pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Central Michigan University and completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. I have always loved listening to people and decided at an early age that my passion is to be a counselor. I believe counseling can be highly beneficial to so many people. When you are ready to take the first step on this journey, I will be there to support you.

“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” – Lisa Olivera (Counselor, Author)
