I have a passion for working with children and adults that have gone through hard times and feel stuck. I am skilled in treating behaviors, emotions, thoughts associated with traumatic experiences, adjusting to changes in life, relationship and family issues, suicidal thoughts and self injurious behavior, and managing chronic mental and physical illness. My experience working in community mental health has prepared me for treating a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to post-traumatic stress, substance use, co-occurring disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, major depression, and severe mental illness. I am inspired by the human capacity for resilience and I work to empower individuals on their personal journey. My therapeutic approach fosters a non judgmental, supportive space that honors individuals for being vulnerable and making efforts toward self improvement.


I am a Western Michigan University Graduate with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I utilize an eclectic approach, integrating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidenced-based practices to develop individualized treatment recommendations based on your unique needs and strengths. I will help you build your mental health toolbox with skills to assist you on your journey toward wellness!
