Feeling stuck, confused, overwhelmed, anxious, or alone? I am glad you are here. I am passionate about meeting people where they are in their own individual story and helping them journey towards healing and growth. I believe personal understanding and strength can be found in the depths of vulnerability and wish to assist you through this process. I specialize in areas of identity, grief, depression, trauma, anxiety, spirituality, self-esteem, and relationships. My approach is grounded in varying modalities including person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, and mindfulness.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University and my Master of Social Work degree from Spring Arbor University. I have experience working in the child welfare system and supporting families and youth navigating the foster care system. In addition, I have personal and professional experience mentoring and counseling teenagers and college students navigating life transitions.
I am honored to hear individual’s stories and hold space for them to feel safe, seen, heard, and valued. I hope to connect further and support you in your life experiences.
