Hello there! Welcome to my page. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling. I provide a safe space for clients to express themselves honestly, get to understand their true feelings, and working together to figure out how to use that information towards a journey of healing.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Alma College and Master’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma, stress management, life transitions, and overall health/wellness. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches and treatment modalities catered to each client’s needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-Based perspective.

Your story matters. Your story, your pain, and your collection of struggles are unique to you. There is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. I look forward to spending time understanding exactly what you are experiencing and why. I am passionate about walking alongside each client as they discover their true strength and resilience while becoming empowered to improve their quality of life.

If you are ready to commit to this process, it would be my pleasure to join you on your journey of healing and finding your true strength. I know it isn’t easy to take this step, but I encourage you to do so today. I look forward to meeting you!
