Hello,
I am Asha Uparkwoth. I am a Licensed Clinician Social Worker in the state of Michigan. I started my journey as a therapist in 2012. I attended Western Michigan University for undergraduate and graduate school. I graduated in 2018 with a Master's in Social Work.
I feel called to the field of social work and therapy. I feel that I have been called to help people process life's difficulties. I enjoy researching new studies and modalities to better serve the individuals I work with. I also continue to educate myself through training and obtaining certifications. I take a person-centered approach to therapy. I believe people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need someone to walk alongside them in this journey called life.
