Therapy is a process of growth, empowerment, and finding balance for your specific circumstances. When our minds are constantly trying to make sense of our life, thoughts, and feelings, we can lose our sense of who we are, and what we want for ourselves. In therapy, I will support you in creating a personalized plan to grow into what you would like for your life; empower you to take action; and find the balance needed to achieve the quality of life that gives you the most fulfillment. I draw from many approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness to name a few.

I earned my MSW from Western Michigan University with concentrations in clinical practice and alcohol and drug addiction. I’ve supported individuals for over a decade, whose needs have included severe and persistent mental illness, addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Our work together is a partnership, where you are the expert, and my role is to help you clarify and refine what’s most important. I look forward to working with you.
