Life can be overwhelming at times. In working together our counseling relationship will be a collaborative effort to help you navigate the challenges you are facing. I view your strengths from a holistic lens - encompassing the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of your life. We will explore self -care strategies which may include an awareness of healthy nutrition, movement, rest, meditation, prayer and various Complementary Alternative Approaches.
I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University, a B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College and am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
At this time I am welcoming young adult through older adult ages.
Motivational Interviewing, Brief- Solution Focused, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Practices.
