In therapy, relationships are my priority. My intentions are for a strong mutual relationship to ensure open communication and an individualized approach to your needs. I take a positive solution-focused approach to your needs. I am an out-going person who enjoys working with families and building a growth mindset.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2016 with my Bachelor’s with my major in psychology and my minor in sociology. In April of 2019 I graduated with my Masters in Social Work with a focus on school social work and children and families. Since graduation I have been a school social worker at a local elementary and middle school. I have been in the social work field for about 7 years now. Prior to graduating, I worked for a nonprofit, where I worked in the community with kids between the ages of 4 and 18 individually and in groups supporting their mental health needs.
I specialize in supporting children ages 4-18 and their families as they navigate life together and work collectively to develop a better understanding of their child's needs and behaviors as family dynamics change.
