My name is Jordyn McCormick and I have been practicing in mental health field for over 10 years. I have worked in community mental health agencies providing outpatient therapy as well as crisis intervention services. I graduated with my bachelors degree In psychology from Grand Valley State University and then received a Masters in Social Work through Grand Valley State University.

My approach to therapy is person centered and based on individual needs and goals. I believe that everyone is the expert on their own life and can be supported by using the clinical tools that best suite their individual goals and experiences. I help support people utilizing my clinical training in trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy and prolonged exposure which are both evidenced based treatments for symptoms related to experiencing trauma and PTSD. I also have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing and have experience working with adults, teens and children. I am also certified as a Certified Advanced Addiction and Drug Counselor and have experience working with people who are struggling with substance use.
