Hi, my name is Lisa and I deeply believe that you can experience the healing and freedom that you are longing for. I believe with you that this is not as good as it gets. I believe this is possible because Jesus came with good news for the broken places in our hearts and stories. And I’ve seen the changes, hearts made whole, the old made new, the beauty for ashes, the chains- whatever they are, broken. I’ll provide a compassionate space where you can come as you are and focus on you.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with 20 years of experience who wholeheartedly believes that Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor. As I practice I prayerfully seek His wisdom and trust the Holy Spirit to inform sessions and how to proceed with treatment interventions. Treatment modalities I utilize are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength Based and Trauma Informed along with additional modalities of Inner Healing Prayer, Understanding and Healing the Wounded Heart and Steps to Freedom as indicated. I am passionate about root level work which effectively identifies and resolves the sources of pain underlying defenses, habits, and addictions. My approach is holistic and considers your whole person, spirit, soul and body.

I have worked many years in the hospice setting and can assist children through adults with processing their grief journey. Additionally I have spent many years as a counselor in a primary care physician office providing effective and compassionate counseling to patients referred by the pediatrician, obstetrician and physicians.
