Lisa Watson earned her Master’s (MA) in Counseling degree from Cornerstone University/Grand Rapids Theological University. Though her degree came from a Christian university Lisa understands and accepts that perspective may not be for everyone. Lisa has certification as a Grief Counselor – Certified (GC-C). She has further experience in helping individuals with challenges in life adjustment, depression, and anxiety. Lisa understands how challenging life can be. Further, Lisa values the need for her clients to have a safe, non-judgmental place to process the challenges they are going through.
If you feel you are alone in managing your challenges, know that Lisa will walk with you. She will encourage, support, challenge, and help you see things from other perspectives. Lisa values her clients feeling like they are being heard and thus she has training in empathic listening.
Lisa values helping people in all areas of life. Lisa has lived in West Michigan for 23 years and has lived in Michigan most of her life. Lisa enjoys reading, baking, quilting, singing, crewing for hot air balloon teams, and spending time with her family.
