ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hi! I’m Sharon.
I’m honored you took the time to learn more about me. I fully believe everyone has the capacity for growth and I’m excited for the opportunity to walk with you through whatever your struggles might be.
It’s one of my greatest joys to help clients and provide a sounding board as they figure out how to thrive in their lives. My style is rather laid back and direct. I utilize a combination of Person-Centered and CBT as my theoretical foundation but employ other strategies as they fit the client’s needs. I hope to provide a comfortable and safe environment so clients can be their authentic selves.
A little background, I completed my Bachelors Degree at Cornerstone University and my Masters Program in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity International University. I then spent several years working with kids and parents involved with Child Protective Services to process through trauma, separation, grief, emotional struggles, self-esteem issues, shame, depression and a host of other struggles.
Since then, I’ve been working in private practice and have spent my time helping mostly with teens and adults struggling with issues including but not limited to: Anxiety, Perfectionism, Depression, Trauma, OCD, Grief, Life Transitions, and Identity Formation.
