Welcome! Taking the first steps towards change can often times feel overwhelming. I am here to walk this journey with you. I am passionate about partnering with my clients as they discover their resilience and become empowered to improve their quality of life.
I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and completed a 2 year post-Master’s fellowship at U of M’s Counseling and Psychological Services where I had the privilege of working with college students in therapy. I specialize in working with teens and young adults and have done so in a high school and university setting for the past 6 years.
In my clinical work, it is important for me to look at the whole person through a holistic lens; taking into consideration their many identities and roles as well as the way they approach wellness in their life. I strive to foster a strong relationship with each client as I believe the client/therapist relationship is paramount in promoting growth in therapy and developing a deeper understanding of oneself. Your story, your feelings, and what you have to say matter, and I am here to support you along your journey to accomplishing your goals - whatever those may be.
I specialize in working with eating disorders and body image, anxiety, life transitions/adjustment, self esteem, relationships, women’s issues, chronic illness, grief and loss, sexuality, family of origin concerns, and gender identity. As a relational therapist with training in attachment based psychotherapy, I am highly attuned to each client and provide a warm, secure, and safe base from which to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I cater my approach to each client’s needs and integrate practical approaches such as mindfulness, self compassion, emotion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills. I also have extensive training and experience as an academic and life coach, and am happy to bring these skills into my therapy practice based on a client’s needs.
