It takes courage to reflect on ourselves and recognize opportunities for change and growth. By prioritizing your mental health and seeking out a therapist, you are already demonstrating the necessary insight to succeed in therapy.
I have a passion for working with children and adults that have gone through hard times and feel stuck. I am skilled in treating behaviors, emotions, thoughts associated with traumatic experiences, adjusting to changes in life, relationship and family issues, suicidal thoughts and self injurious behavior, and managing chronic mental and physical illness. My experience working in community mental health has prepared me for treating a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to post-traumatic stress, substance use, co-occurring disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, major depression, and severe mental illness. I am inspired by the human capacity for resilience and I work to empower individuals on their personal journey. My therapeutic approach fosters a non judgmental, supportive space that honors individuals for being vulnerable and making efforts toward self improvement.
