Life can come with challenges at different times for different people. During times of struggle and emotional pain, I want you to know that a bright future of peace, healing, and enthusiasm for life is possible for you. Seeking out help is a strength, for no one can survive life alone. My education and clinical experience have given me the honor of seeing firsthand the healing and growth possible during times of struggle and suffering. My clinical roles include helping others as a crisis counselor on 988, the National Suicide Prevention Line, and as a clinical social worker helping others overcome obstacles and gain their lives back in an acute psychiatric care facility.

As someone with my clinical work experience and a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Western Michigan University, I recognize that as every person is different, so is every treatment plan. I incorporate evidence-based treatment methods into my clinical practice including Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (CBT & DBT), Trauma-focused therapies (TFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and more. I use these proven treatment methods to treat a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, relational issues, disordered eating, grief, and trauma, among others. I offer therapeutic services in both English and Spanish. If interested in exploring treatment options, please feel free to contact the Counseling Center of West Michigan at (616) 805-3660.
