ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Hi! My name is Jordan, a Social Worker/Therapist. I love working with a wide array of mental health concerns. My chosen interventions are applicable to any sort of issue - come one come all! I utilize psychoanalysis, psychodynamic, and DBT models of therapy. I enjoy working with all sorts of issues, but am specifically interested in areas of substance use/addiction, sports psychology/performance, and relationship concerns. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, as I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I find a great deal of value in using humor throughout our process - appropriately timed, of course.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from THE Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!), and I have done a great deal of reading and consultation in therapy modalities. I am passionate about helping you gain insight into your patterns of thinking and behavior, and cultivate greater resilience. I work with clients of all ages, from children to adults, and I believe in taking a personalized approach to therapy. Every person’s journey is unique, and I tailor my treatment plans to align with your individual needs and goals. My aim is to empower you to tap into your strengths while providing practical strategies to overcome challenges.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy camping, weightlifting, MMA, video games, and spending time with friends/family. I also work at Pine Rest as an Inpatient Social Worker. I have a human kiddo and two cat kiddos - Miss Kitty and Kakarot (Dragon Ball Z fans?).

I knew I wanted to be a therapist after my own experience with it. I love the science behind it, but I primarily want to be that person for you, that my therapist was for me. If you’re looking for a therapist to support you on your path to mental well-being, I’d be honored to join you.
