NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hello! I want to thank you for putting yourself first. We all need a little help sometimes and I’m so glad you’ve taken this step. I look forward to working with you to discover the best version of yourself.
I received my master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University and am currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision through Walden University. I have been working in this field for two years. Though I may be relatively new to the field, I am not new to life’s harsh experiences and trials.
I work with individuals ages eight and older as I love working with a wide range of individuals. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I also have experience in trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis situations, mood disorders, personality disorders, and a combination thereof.
Interventions I use in therapy include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and Adlerian therapy. That being said, I believe that I can learn just as much from you as you will learn from me.
Something that is extremely important to me when working with individuals in therapy is to create a space that is nonjudgmental. We spend so much of our time worrying about things from the past and things in the future that may or may not happen. We also spend a significant amount of time worrying about what others think of us instead of working on what we think about ourselves. I work to help my clients feel that the space they share with me is one that is accepting and unbiased.
Thank you again for starting the process of allowing yourself to heal. I look forward to meeting you and guiding you through this journey.
