NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

It's wonderful to meet you! I'm Alyse (she/they), a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student currently completing my internship. I genuinely enjoy and deeply care about providing compassionate mental health support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. My primary focus is on working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, grief counseling, and matters of sexuality.

Drawing from psychoanalytic, feminist, and existentialism approaches in my therapeutic practice, I aim to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities can find acceptance and support. Whether you're navigating aspects like coming out, self-acceptance, relationships, or facing discrimination, I am here to help empower you no matter where you are on your journey.

Recognizing the profound impact of grief on mental well-being, I approach it with empathy and sensitivity. I provide a compassionate space for individuals to heal, find resilience, and discover meaning amidst the pain.

Additionally, I am passionate about matters of sexuality, intimacy, and sexual health. I believe in fostering open and non-judgmental conversations, allowing individuals to explore their sexual identities, address concerns, and enhance overall well-being. Together, we can cultivate healthy relationships and foster a positive sense of sexual self.

In my therapeutic practice, I integrate psychoanalytic, feminist, and existentialism approaches. These frameworks offer a deep understanding of the influence of personal experiences, such as societal influences and childhood, while emphasizing the quest for personal meaning. By tailoring my approach to your unique needs, I aim to provide effective support.

As your counselor, I want to create a space where you feel heard and understood. I will do the necessary research to understand who you are and where you come from, so there's no need to give a lengthy explanation. With my specialization in LGBTQIA+ issues, grief counseling, sexuality, and diverse therapeutic approaches, I offer a holistic and caring approach. It would be an honor for me to join you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
