Welcome to the Counseling Center of West Michigan! 

Life can be messy, complicated, and challenging. It can also be joyful. Sometimes those difficult times overshadow the joy. My goal is to create a welcoming, safe space to promote healing and generate peace.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Masters in Social Work from Michigan State University. Since then I have worked in various settings such as the medical field, client homes, and the school system.
 
I work with individuals aged 10 years old and up struggling with depression, anxiety, body image, disordered eating patterns, grief, life transitions, stress management, and trauma. I utilize several modalities - cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), solution focused, and dialectical behavioral therapy skills.
