Christine Mushlock, LMSW
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My name is Christine Mushlock and I consider it a privilege to support people working toward positive change. I am sensitive to the fact that many people are not too eager or comfortable with opening up to a stranger about their personal history. As a therapist, it is my goal to provide a safe and welcoming space where you will feel heard, respected and supported.
My therapy style is warm, relaxed and caring. I practice from an integrated treatment approach, paced and tailored to fit the goals and readiness of each individual. There is no problem too big, too small or too uncomfortable to bring to session. It is my hope that therapy will provide you a safe space to enhance the knowledge and skills to confidently approach and manage life challenges, while nurturing a deeper sense of empowerment, confidence and self-understanding.
I work with children, teens and adults and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship stressors. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and have worked as a therapist in school, community and outpatient settings. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
