ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

We have all experienced a time in our lives that have caused us to question our emotions and if we are processing them in a healthy manner. The biggest, and most difficult step is reaching out for the help you deserve and the support that can lead you on a healthy path. I truly hope that I can be part of this journey for you or your loved ones.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology and received master’s degrees in counseling education from Grand Valley State University and a masters in social work from Western Michigan University. I have been involved in the mental health field for over 15 years with 7 years’ experience working in the ER at a local hospital and working in the private therapy field. These experiences have provided me with opportunities to work with teens, young adults, couples, and those who are going through life changes and struggles. These struggles have included working through anxiety, depression, grief, and marital struggles to name a few. I focus on a strengths-based approach for my clients and want to empower each person I work with to feel they have accomplished growth and healing.

I am part of a blended family with 4 children in our home. This allows me to bring a unique perspective to my approach with many of my clients. I have also experienced the loss of a child and more recently the loss that many have suffered through Covid with my fathers passing. Even with these moments, I am honored to support and walk through the barriers that each of my clients may have and build trust as we develop the skills needed to get back on track.

Please feel free to contact me and allow me to help you back to a place of peace. I look forward to
meeting you and getting to know you as we work together on your journey.
