NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read all about me! My name is Kristin and I want to applaud you for taking the first step in your mental health journey. I am a strong advocate on mental health and making sure you take time to care for yourself. I feel that it takes a lot of courage to seek out therapy during the difficult times in your life. I understand that everyone goes through their own journey, and I am here to help you along the way. I have worked with various age groups through trauma, family issues, school and behavioral problems, relationships, life changes and with anxiety and depression.

My therapy style is very eclectic, and person centered. I practice using various therapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectics behavioral therapy (DBT), play therapy, motivational interviewing, and family-based therapy.

I have worked in the social work field with children, teens, young adults, and the elderly. I have worked within nursing homes, schools, substance use clinics and therapy offices. I graduated with my bachelor's degree and master's degree in social work at Grand Valley State University in 2020 and 2021. I am excited to build a strong relationship to help you through your challenging times in your life.
