Choosing the right therapist can be a really difficult decision. One of the biggest barriers to starting therapy may simply be that you don’t know what to expect. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with complete transparency as we work together to reach your goals. My role in our relationship is to support you as you process, grow, and heal.
My approach takes into account the circumstances, experiences, and oppression that you have faced and the impact on your mental health. Through this intersectional lens, we will build a trusting relationship that creates a safe space to work through life stressors, identity issues, relationship concerns, or other psychological stressors to achieve life-changing outcomes. In session, I will utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR and motivational interviewing to support you in reaching your goals.
Therapy is all about trust and authenticity. As your therapist, I will work to create a space where you feel empowered to create change and health in your life.
