NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Whether you’re new to therapy or just starting, I’m here to meet you where you’re at! I believe each person is an expert in their own life. As your therapist, I will work with you to understand your unique perspective and together we will work to help improve your quality of life. You already have everything you need within you, my job is to help you tap into that internal strength.

Each client has their own worldview, and as such I tend to practice from an integrative model of therapy; I often incorporate feminist, multicultural, Gestalt, and emotion-focused theories in my practice. I take a holistic approach to mental health utilizing both evidence based techniques and complementary/alternative medicine. I welcome and embrace the value of humor and laughter in therapy, while also recognizing the importance of diving into deep, often uncomfortable emotions. Regardless of the emotion, I strive to create a safe and judgement free environment to process anything that may come up.

I have experience working with a wide range of clients and concerns including issues related to gender and sexual identity, sexual assault, abortion, societal pressure/fatigue, burnout, racism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, intergenerational trauma, ADHD, and more.

A little about me:

Growing up in Northern Michigan I developed a passion for outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, skiing, and kayaking. I’m secretly a huge anime fan and I love house music. I received my Bachelors degrees from Grand Valley State University in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies and then pursued my Masters degree from Western Michigan University in Counseling Psychology.
