NOT CURRENTLY  ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

I always knew that in some capacity, I wanted to work in a profession that would allow me to help
people. As a young adult, I realized that counseling would be an amazing way for me to work with
people as they face difficulties in life. I attended Ferris State University and received my master’s degree in social work. Post-graduation, I received my CAADC (certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor).

Currently, I work with ages 12 and up. I am passionate about helping people develop self-love and
confidence as they manage their mental health. I believe that at some point, everyone faces some
challenges. As a clinician, I will work with you to address past or present negative issues and see how they could be affecting you. I work from a holistic viewpoint and I believe when our mental, spiritual, (note I am not speaking of organized religion), social and physical health is in balance, that is when we are at our best. As a therapist, I strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment that is nonjudgmental. I can address a myriad of issues in therapy such as (but not limited to) trauma or PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, general stress, adjustment to life changes, coping skills, problem solving, addiction, sexual issues, women’s issues, and codependency.

I look forward to meeting with you and congratulations for choosing therapy and deciding to work on you.
