Al M. Mills is a Licensed Master Social Worker. After getting their Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, they went on to pursue their Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley University, graduating in 2015. Al is an experienced clinician, with over 10 years in mental health services. They have extensive knowledge of the child welfare system and experience with courts and law enforcement. Al is trained in strengths based, solutions focused, CBT, and EMDR therapies. Al incorporates humor into their sessions, focusing on rapport building and identifying strengths. In their free time, Al enjoys animals of all kinds, dog training, and crafting.
