ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

I’m a licensed social worker at the Counseling Center of West Michigan with a deep passion for supporting children and adolescents. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. During my graduate studies, I worked as a school social worker with elementary, middle, and high school students. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Level 1 EMDR, which allow me to provide specialized care for children and teens navigating difficult experiences.

From the beginning of my career, I have felt called to work with young people. I first supported foster children and families during my undergraduate years and have continued this work in both school and outpatient clinical settings. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and welcoming space where children and adolescents feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow into their best selves.
