Hello, and welcome! My name is Carly Sutkiewicz and I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. As a counselor, I strive to create a relaxed, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you will feel heard and understood. Navigating this journey of life can be difficult and my goal is that you feel comfortable learning about yourself, processing your experiences and emotions, and beginning the process of healing. I truly believe that you are the expert on yourself and therefore take a collaborative approach to therapy where we will work together on setting goals and creating effective change. I will meet you where you are at, and without judgment, help you find your way to where you wish to be.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University and have experience working with various mental health concerns. I am interested in working with individuals ages 12 and up who are seeking help for anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, trauma, stress, and more. I believe we are all unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. Therefore, I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy, to find what works best for you.
I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your journey!
