About Me

I’m a Master’s Level Social Worker (MSW) who’s been dedicated to supporting individuals and families since earning my degree in 2013. Early in my career, I worked as an Evaluator in Springfield, MO, conducting annual psychosocial assessments for adult case management clients. That role deepened my understanding of how complex life circumstances and systemic barriers intersect to affect mental health and well-being.

When my first child was born, I took a 9½-year hiatus from formal practice to embrace the full-time role of parent. Far from a pause in my professional growth, that time enriched my empathy and gave me firsthand insight into the daily challenges and triumphs my clients experience. Being a parent is one of the most demanding—and rewarding—roles I’ve ever held, and it has profoundly shaped my therapeutic perspective.

Foundations in Mental Health

My initial foray into mental health was as an MSW therapy intern at a residential treatment facility in Missouri. There, I led and co-facilitated:

Group therapy for children navigating behavioral health challenges

Individual sessions, providing tailored support to young clients

Family therapy, fostering healthier communication and connection

This early experience taught me the power of a safe, consistent therapeutic environment where healing can unfold at each person’s pace.

My Therapeutic Approach

I bring an integrative, empathetic, and hopeful stance to every session. You can expect me to be:

Solution-focused, helping you identify strengths and next steps

Collaborative, working with you as an equal partner in your growth

Intuitive and approachable, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space

Mind-body oriented, guiding you to feel safe in your own body and increasing your capacity to sit with difficult emotions

Whether we’re exploring coping strategies, processing grief, or building resilience, my goal is always to help you overcome setbacks and move toward lasting well-being.

Over the years, I’ve supported clients facing a wide range of concerns, including:

Mood disorders: Depression, Bipolar Disorder

Attention and executive function: ADHD

Life-stage and caregiving stress: Caregiver Fatigue, Burnout, Chronic/Terminal Illness, Disabilities

My diverse experience equips me to tailor interventions that honor your unique story and goals.

I’m thrilled to be reentering the field of professional social work and look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater resilience, insight, and hope. If you’re seeking a warm, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth ally in therapy, I’m here to help you take the next step.
