ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hello! My name is Clara and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I truly love the work that I do, and the opportunity to provide a compassionate, safe, and judgment-free space for individuals to come and process the complexities of life and relationships.
I am particularly passionate about offering counseling services to young adults in seasons of self-discovery or life transition. I have experience working with concerns of identity, self-esteem, healthy relationships/boundaries, trauma history, depression and anxiety, and simply navigating the overwhelming and intense period of change that comes with being a young adult. I also have experience in career and education counseling.
I love supporting patients in answering the hard, but exciting questions of life: “Who do I really want to be? How do I get there? Where do I start?” I have worked with young adults of all backgrounds including those aging out of foster care, young/teen parents, first generation college students, teens and young adults on probation or involved in juvenile justice, and survivors of abuse, trauma, and violence. I utilize a mix of therapy modalities to best meet the needs of each individual.
Whatever brings you into counseling, my hope is that we can work together to make sense of your experiences, that I may offer insights and support in your journey, and that you will be empowered to live the life you want to live, equipped with the right tools and resources. I am passionate about trauma sensitive therapy and serving marginalized populations, and I continue to educate myself on issues of race, culture, and identity. I am a Christian in my personal beliefs, and can incorporate Christian faith into the therapy space upon request.
