Life can be messy and hard – and saying “YES” to help is no easy thing. But you have taken the first step, and I’m glad you’re here!

I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and have spent the last 8 years working in a variety of mental health settings. I have experience in trauma assessments, clinical therapy, and medical social work with adult, pediatric and refugee populations. I also have experience in international mental health program development. Specifically, I have experience addressing the following: Trauma in various forms, including spiritual trauma, PTSD, burnout, secondary stress, grief, women’s issues, life transitions of various forms, and issues specific to first responders, humanitarians, and missionaries.

It is truly an honor for me to walk alongside people as they navigate the hard things. My goal is to listen, support and collaborate with you on your journey. I use a holistic approach and have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and draw from additional evidence-based approaches. Also, I am able to provide a faith-based approach to therapy for those who are interested and request this.

Outside of my work here: I love to travel, outdoor activities, baby animal cuddles and spending time with family. I also do international humanitarian aid work.

One of my favorite quotes: “I survived because the fire that burned inside of me burned brighter than the fire around me.”
