Welcome!

I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor with over four years of experience working in

the mental health field. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Aquinas College, as

well as my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Western Michigan University.

My main goal in session is to provide a therapeutic environment that allows for clients to

process their specific concerns, while also providing structure to promote goal progression and

wanted change. I meet each individual client where they are in their counseling journey, and

work in collaboration with the client to develop an experience that is comfortable and

supportive for them.

I am knowledgeable in several counseling techniques with a theoretical orientation in Cognitive

Behavioral Therapy. Examples of client concerns I have experience with include: substance

abuse, trauma and crisis care, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional growth, negative

self- talk, self-esteem, life stressors, grief, etc.

I have experience running group therapy as well as seeing individual clients of all ages and

backgrounds, specializing in working with children and young teens.

I fully believe that counseling CAN be for anyone and there is no concern too small to seek help

with.
